Traditionally Handmade Pure Goats Milk Soap from Lilli Goat Soap

Lilli Goat Soap is a small home based family business making all our Pure Goats Milk Soaps ourselves along with a number of other Bath products which you will be able to see on the following pages. We have undergone full cosmetic assessments with a registered chemist and all the recipes that we use have been safety checked and have been certified safe.

Goats milk contains many nutrients like fats, proteins and other hormones that naturally benefit the skin. These benefits can be felt by people suffering from various skin conditions and those just looking to maintain youthful, rejuvenated skin. Goats milk soap has a pH level similar to the human skin so is beneficial by protecting the skin from daily bacterial and chemical invasions, thereby reducing acne. Hand made goats milk soap is moisturising and benefits people with sensitive skin because it does not contain alcohol, petroleum and preservatives so reducing the risk of skin irritation and allergic reactions. Goats milk soap also helps to exfoliate dead skin due to the alpha-hydroxy acids found in the milk. Eczema sufferers can benefit greatly from goats milk soap as the natural nutrients in the goats milk helps moisturize the skin and reduces itchiness in the skin. Our soaps have added Shea Butter to give a luxurious moisturising creamy lather.

All our soaps & salts are suitable for Vegetarians and have not been tested on animals. We also have a pure natural coconut milk soap which is suitable for Vegans

We currently have 5 lovely pygmy goats, Isla, Skye, Rhum, Rosemary & Thyme. Isla has just given birth to a beautiful daughter who we have yet to decide a name for and she was rapidly followed by Rosemary who gave birth to a handsome son named Basil! As our goats are only pygmy goats they do not produce enough milk to fulfill our soap making requirements so we use the surplus milk from our friend Margaret's two absolutely gorgeous Toggenburg Goats - Trixie and her daughter Toffee.
